Clarity is the relative absence of clarity characteristics.

Blemishes include scratches and nicks on a diamond’s surface. Inclusions are on the inside.

Depending on where they’re located, they might still be there after the stone has been cut and polished.

On the above chart, the greatest of all is F1; Flawless= show no inclusion or blemish of any sort under 10X magnification

VS1= Very Slightly Included that contains minute inclusives such as small crystals, clouds when observed under 10X magnification.

My ring falls under this category n still can be regarded as under EXCELLENT clarity..hehe....

Cut- The most complex of 4s

U may think of cut as the shape and style of a polished diamond..

But when we talk about Cut as a value factor, we're also talking about the proportions, symmetry and finish of a diamond, often called "make" in the diamond trade. .

A diamond with a "good make" will speak to you. It's bright, fiery, symmetrical, and sparkles with light.

The one that i have is Standard Round Brilliant Cut. Hehehe....

The distance from the bottom of the girdle to the culet is the pavilion depth. A pavilion depth that’s too shallow or too deep will allow light to escape from the side of the stone, or leak out of the bottom. A well-cut diamond will direct more light through the crown

Cutting a diamond to produce the maximum return of light depends on the interrelationship between three critical proportions – table size, crown angle and pavilion depth. These can be combined in many ways to yield equally bright round brilliant cut diamonds

Carat weight

Have u ever heard of the word 'Carat' before this? Do not pronounce it as in KARAT in malay..buruk giler kedengarannye.. Carat as in CARROT in English..

It’s Carat weight—how much your diamond weighs..

Its very simple. 1 carat = 200mg

The larger the diamond is, the higher its worth.

Basically, at Habib, the highest Carat one can get is 4 Ct and the smallest is 0.1 ct..

Mine is almost half carat..hehe

"Lets go buy a diamond", tetiba jer imi bersuara...

aku dah lah ngah merajok time tu..aper lagi seronok ler saya....hihihi......

Ever since yesterday, i cant stop myself from smiling..haha.. Last saturday, imi, nadiah n i went around whole Kl just to find the right engagement ring...we start from Habib Jewel Ampang Point, tapi kiteorg tak dilayan pun cz too many ppl inside there... Then, kiteorg singgah KLCC coz nadiah said her aunt's fren, Auntie Sabrina works there...Unfortunately for all of us, she wasnt there..huhu...and then we went into Tomei.. not bad la the designs... hampir dah nak terbeli,nasib baik imi cakap, 'its ok...we still have more time n no need to rush...'...

After that, kiteorg meneruskan pencarian kiteorg sehingga ke Poh Kong kat area PJ, (belakang PJ Hilton)..but ntah kenapa, aku cam tak baper gemar dgn layanan staff kat situ..Cehhh... So, finally, we made up our mind.. kiteorg terus p The Curve.....hoping that we could finally get the right one....

Finally, we reached Habib Jewel at The Curve.. we were entertained by the Branch Manager, the warm and friendly Mr. Nor Halim...Mr Halim memang best gilerrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

He explained n described the very essentials of 4 Cs...

He pulled out a tray of many diamonds, n begin to teach us with a little lesson on the first of essential four..COLOUR.

The colour of the diamond affects its value. Many people think of diamonds as colorless. In reality, truly colorless diamonds are quite rare. Most diamonds used in jewelry are nearly colorless with faint yellow or brown tints. These diamonds fall in the normal color range..

Diamonds in the normal colour range are graded by their relative lack of colour.

A diamond that is said to have 'fine colour' has little or no visible coloration.

Thus, the less colour, the higher the value.

Butterfingers @Istana Budaya

I was at Butterfingers unplugged concert in Istana Budaya last three weeks..

Wow..pretty impressive even thou Emmet has got married n has a daugter, but still.. his voice is still da same like was young....

It will be the final full line-up (Loque, Emmett, Kadak & Loko) for year 2009, before Emmett & his family leaves for Canada and Loque will be leaving for Boston at the end of this month..

Actually, bukan lagu2 Butterfingers, tapi Bunkface's very own song, 'Situasi' yang masih terngiang2 dalam kepalaku ini...

Serious, vocalist dia duk depan muka aku jer... Giler handsome duhhh... (Maaf Dalina, aku berhak minat dia.Dia bukan milik ko sorg,ok?)

During the show, Butterfingers has showcase their biggest hits from their album, 1.2 Miligrams, Transcendence, Malayneum n many more (byk yg aku tatau sebenarnya...hehe)

Well... i should say it was very money well spent after all..memang tak sia2 beli tiket for this live concert...

Im sure many of us dah tau product aper yang kte patot boycott and what not..

Here is a flyer berkaitan products terbabit.. Aku dan kwn2 dah lebeh dari sebulan tak p ke McDonald ok?(hehe..tuh pun jenuh roomate aku dok beringat kat aku everytime aku nak kuar makan)

Antara products yang aku rasa aku boleh boycott termasuklah Starbucks, McDonald, Pizza Hut (coz mozarella cheese pizza kat William lagi masyukk woo..), Coca Cola (minum milo ais lagi bagus darr), Danone dan Marks & Spencer...

Tapi, antara product yang aku rasa cam agak sedikit susah nak boycott termasuklah; Loreal (hehe..aku guna sunblock ngan night cream jenama nih kot..n they realy suit my skin..demm!!) Johnson & Johnson (jgn kater Nuha anak buah aku jer, aku pun pakai baby lotion dierr gak weyh), NOKIA (im using one, doww..), Levis (weyh, aku ader 4 pasang jeans levis kottt) and last but not least, Nestle (coz product nih aku tgk mak aku pakai byk sgt kt dapur dia)...

So ppl, boycott what u can..

An to all muslims out there, for each meal you have in Starbucks, McDonald's and the likes, imagine the percentage that goes to the donation of Israeli funds. These are the fundings that are used to buy and develop weapons of 'mass destructions' used against our fellow brothers n sisters...

So, think before u buy...

Last month i went on a Free Palestine demonstration that was held at Kulliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University of Malaysia, Kuantan campus.. Aku p sebagai tanda sokongan and simpati aku pada masyarakat Palestine.. Ituh pun after my roomates, Basma and Aminah beriya2 mengajak aku tuk join... Rupe2nye, tak sangka betol aku lah org yang paling bersemangat berteriak sampai tak keluar sore..haha..

Anyhow, i enjoyed myself bile dapat wat something beneficial mcm ni...Rasa best sgt2 n aku harap, all malaysians dpt bantu penduduk kat Palestine yang tgh struggle nak mempertahankan tanah air mereka.. Tak macam kite yang patut bersyukur idup d muka bumi yang mewah.. nak aper sume dapat jeee... Bile aku dpt forward email dr abang aku n got many pics too, aku sampai menitiskan air mata bila melihat knk2 innocent yang mati dan cedera parah... hurmmm...

Semoga tuhan tempatkan mereka di kalangan roh2 orang yang beriman....Ameen~

Dec 31,2008 - A sad ending to all of Us...

hurmmm..yeahh still couldnt believe she left us for more than a month.. still can feel her presence eventhou she's not around with us anymore.. Itu lah, arwah Nur Aina bt Rashid yang telah pergi kembali ke rahmatullah on that date... hurmmm masih terngiang2 gelak ketawa and senyum manja arwah... she's soo sweet and very friendly.. even my mom and abah slalu puji dia cakap she's very nice and friedly...


She's one of my good old fren and my neighbour as well.. (duk betol2 depan umah aku). Masih teringat masa kiteorg darjah 4 sampai lah dah tingkatan 1 kot,aku selalu lepak umah dia (coz her parents are working time tuh) and dia selalu masak tomyam, nasi kat aku...huhu.. (suke menyendal kat umah orang tau aku ni)..Biasa la, adat berkawan.. kadang2 mesra, kdg2 bergado.. tapi tuh sume aku simpan sebagai memori manis duka bersama dgn arwah.. Biar apa pun yang aku dengar kisah hidup si arwah, tapi bagi aku, 'kau tetap tiada gantinya wahai sahabatku...'


Even till now, im stil sad whenver anyone mentioned her name.. aku tak paham kenapa ada org sanggup memburukkan dia padahal dia tak pernah kacau orang... Biarlah dah ajal dia mcm tuh.. tak usah nak membuka keaiban org..Kite yang masih hidup ni belum tentu lagi ketentuan kita mcm mana...

Two of three friends die in car crash

KUALA LUMPUR: Two of three friends were killed when the car they were traveling in was involved in an accident along Jalan Tun Razak as they were returning home from New Year Eve festivities.
Nur Aina Rashid, 24, who was driving the car, and the front passenger, Nor Salina Abd Wahab, 20, were killed while Norida Meor Othman, 21, suffered a shoulder injury.
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation officer DSP Abdullah Roning said that in the 3am incident, Nur Aina was driving the Satria Neo car towards Jalan Sungai Besi when the vehicle went out of control at a bend near the Jalan Tun Razak tunnel.
"The car then skidded and hit the divider, causing it to spin and hit a concrete wall at the side of the road.
"Nur Aina was thrown out of the car and died on the spot while Salina died at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital at 7.30am," he said when contacted
